e1ns Online-Seminar: Creating a design FMEA according to AIAG/VDA

Target group:

The introductory seminar is aimed at FMEA moderators, managers and team members who want to create and edit FMEAs using the PLATO e1ns software. The possibilities in the use of the PLATO e1ns software and its application areas are taught. The use of the software is demonstrated and deepened through independent exercises on the PC.

Use of e1ns.portal, e1ns.foundation, e1ns.architect, e1ns.methods, e1ns.output und e1ns.dashdoard

Content:

The contents are taught in blocks of 3 hours each (morning, afternoon). The blocks are made up of two units of approx. 1.5 hours each. A break of about 15 minutes is scheduled between the units. Thus, there are 4 units of approx. 1.5 hours per day with the necessary breaks to process what has been learned.

The focus of the units is set as follows:

Unit1

• Methodical introduction to the structure of a design FMEA (presentation)

Unit 2

• Working in PLATO e1ns: Program access and overview

Unit 3 and 4

• FMEA creation according to AIAG/VDA – cross-module
  • Planning and preparation, system analysis, function analysis, failure analysis, risk evaluation, optimization, documentation of FMEA results

Unit 5 and 6

• Consolidation of the contents with the help of practical exercises

Unit 7

• FMEA form
  • Use database queries, use additional form functionalities
• Brief overview of FMEA accompanying e1ns functionalities:
  • Action management, create output documents, graphical evaluations, and reports, retrieve information

Unit 8

• Open questions + Final discussion
