PLATO e1ns FMEDA is now certified according to ISO 26262 and can be used to verify functional safety readiness for hardware architectures of safety goals up to ASIL D.

For this the methodology approach of PLATO e1ns FMEDA has been modified to cover all cases from the standard. We would like to present this new approach to you in a webinar. To do this, we will go through the following steps:

  • Identify safety goal
  • Define safety mechanism catalog
  • Import failure distribution catalog
  • Import part list of safety item
  • Perform FMEDA
  • Assess the level of functional safety readiness via Single Point Fault Metric (SPFM), Latent Fault Metric (LFM) and Probabilistic Metric of random Hardware Failure (PMHF).
