As expected, the AIAG events team did an incredible job of facilitating the Summit. Our team was able to speak with a wide-range of quality engineers and other operational leaders. On the whole, we were shocked how receptive delegates were to having in-depth conversations in spite of not being “face to face”. Perhaps this is a sign of things to come for the future!
As mentioned, the Summit provided an opportunity for us to discuss a wide-range of topics with guests. To help provide a better reflection of the scope of conversations, we have assembled a list of 5 of the most “common” discussions we encountered. Here they are:
- Why the AIAG & VDA FMEA guidelines have had a slow adoption in North America?
- How the new SAE J1739 FMEA standard is going to change many of the North American CSRs and will be adopted more widely than the AIAG and VDA guideline in North America.
- Ways you can insulate yourself from these changes and get your Quality Risk Management “house in order” now (with the flexibility required for the future).
- What are some new strategies for building the business case for improved Quality Risk Management tools internally?
- How to implement a Quality Risk Management solution, like PLATO, with minimal budget and IT resourcing, using a short “pilot” to better measure long term benefits?
If you were unable to join and would like to speak with our North American team, please feel free to contact us anytime.
