Mr. Seifert, employee at Tenneco Automotive, Engineering R&D, started the very well-attended PLATO Network event with his presentation on the "Obtaining VDA compliance in the customer project". In this informative experience report, which i.a. dealt with the topic of graphical network representations, Mr. Seifert gave an insight into his way of working. He pointed out that the processing times at Tenneco have been significantly reduced by introducing a new knowledge management using the SCIO™ database and by use of the SCIO Net Builder.
Other presentations provided a wide range of current topics for discussion:
- What makes a good template?
- How are system models created and how can they be used as a basis for further engineering methods?
- What key figures are crucial on a dashboard for a project team?
- How to control the development process and provide/release development documentation along the quality gates?
Due to the great interest we are already planning the next PLATO Network event on a timely date.
