From the prototype phase through pre-production to series production: All activities for process steps are planned and documented. Use the SCIO™ database and create production control plans quickly and completely. The SCIO™-Control-Plan considers knowledge about products and manufacturing processes, which is already available via system analysis or FMEA. Production control plans are set up automatically. They only supplement the activities for testing and test procedures.

Fast & Efficient
  • A production control plan is generated directly on the basis of existing data (function structures, process flow chart, FMEA, etc.).
  • Alternatively, you can also start with the production control plan without having a process FMEA or process flowchart. This enables you to work according to your requirements and always provides basic data for further analyses.
  • Relevant product characteristics are automatically assigned to the manufacturing processes by the system analysis. This allows you to work very quickly and ensure completeness.
  • Different process steps (from different systems / FMEAs) can be combined in the production control plan, e.g. to include goods receipt and transport steps.
Interfaces & Special Features
  • With SCIO™-Control-Plan the effort for inspection planning is considerably reduced.
  • Production control plans provide the basic data for inspection plans in the module SCIO™-Inspection-Plan.
  • Interfaces from PLATO SCIO™-Control-Plan to CAQ systems offer external inspection plan processing, e.g. in GUARDUS™ MES.
  • Classify special characteristics and label them with symbols and/or descriptions. When creating a production control plan, you can filter by product and process characteristics that have a label if required.

  • SCIO™ guarantees the consistency of special characteristics. Marked characteristics are always automatically kept up-to-date in the production control plan and in all other relevant analyses.
Cross-Product & Interdisciplinary
  • Via the SCIO™ database, all data of a production control plan are immediately available in further SCIO™ modules, so that process steps, characteristics, etc. are always updated in the risk analysis or the process flow chart without any effort.
  • The SCIO™ database preserves the knowledge and makes it usable. Compared to file-based systems, the SCIO™ database is easily able to provide cross-project and cross-product knowledge and evaluations.
