Oakland University and PLATO Team on Engineering Risk Analysis Curriculum

The need to prepare the future quality and reliability engineers with the expertise they need to excel in a rapidly changing vehicle engineering landscape is key for their impact on the automotive product development process,” stated Steve Dunn, PLATO North America.  

“For the second year in a row, PLATO experts have been invited to provide presentations on DFMEA & PFMEA methodology, including the utilization of PLATO e1ns software by the students in the Engineering Risk Analysis course. The Engineering Risk Analysis course at OU provides engineering students with expertise needed for proactive risk analysis and control of occurrence probability,” stated Richard Olawoyin, Associate Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at Oakland University.
