An inspection plan is the basis for quality assurance measurements during production. An inspection plan documents inspection characteristics, inspection procedures and those responsible. It is the result of quality planning. Data from the production control plan (SCIO™-Control-Plan) is used as the basis for creating an inspection plan.

  • An inspection plan is used in the quality assurance process and supports you in the manufacture of quality products according to customer requirements.
  • The inspection plan lists all quality-relevant features with tolerances and names those responsible for inspections.
  • Inspection plans contain all relevant data of a production control plan summarized for one workstation or one machine.
  • Inspection plans are transferred from SCIO™ to an MS Excel template. This makes further processing easy.
